School of Larks offers a diverse apprenticeship program that involves planning, teaching, working on personal skills and much more! If you would like to get involved with an apprenticeship opportunity, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
We have a trainee program for over 25's which runs alongside our apprenticeship program. We welcome enquiries from circus professionals and also those with circus experience who are interested in teaching circus arts.
Here's what our apprentices have to say...
All aspects of being an apprentice have been uplifting: working with compassionate teachers and students,
learning about the business, gaining leadership skills, and solidifying my own knowledge through teaching others.
I loved working as the apprentice for School of Larks- it has really helped to build my confidence both with teaching and my personal performing skills. I have loved working to help design the business, I felt that it was really adapted to my individual needs. I am continuing to work there teaching and also as their designer!
Working as an apprentice for School of Larks can be anything from learning about the business to helping create a show. It really is what you make it into, so the most important thing is to do the things you enjoy and are interested in. Alice and Claudia will provide you with tons of opportunities but it’s up to you to decide which ones will help you the most. For me it was all about improving my skills as a teacher, and building my confidence as an artist.
