School of Larks at the

Cotswold School

We are very excited to announce a new project and expansion of School of Larks at the Cotswold School in Bourton on the Water. We have received funding from Sports England to install aerial equipment in the sports hall at the Cotswold school. We have 9 pieces of equipment ranging from trapezes, silks, rope, doubles trapeze and hoop. We will be running this as a youth engagement project at the school engaging students at the school and in the wider community to promote physical and mental health and enable technical and creative expression.

Aerial has very uniquely beneficial aspects, as it is a non competitive sport but also an art form. It develops high levels of skill and ability and gives the freedom to develop your own style and technique. It requires discipline and is exciting and very fun. We work with a range of equipment and techniques which promote physical well being but also cooperation and collaboration within the group.

We will be running some taster sessions for the students at the school on Mondays from the 1st-15th of July for students at the school. We will also be running a summer school for all ages from 5yr olds to adults on the 12th and 13th of August in aerial and circus skills. (links to booking system).

We will be starting regular classes in September for both he students at the school and the local community.
